Q: What happens if I cause an accident?

If you are responsible for the accident: Ensure the safety of all participants and call emergency services if necessary. Notify Agio and follow their instructions. Obtain a police report, as you will need it for the claims process. If you have Super LDW or Premium insurance , your liability is €0, except in cases of improper use of the vehicle.

Q: What happens if the police stop me and find that the vehicle is not registered or insured?

All Agio vehicles are registered and insured. If any issue arises, immediately contact Agio so we can check the vehicle's status and resolve the situation.

Q: Are personal items in the vehicle insured?

No, insurance does not cover the loss or theft of personal items left in the vehicle. We recommend not leaving valuables in plain sight and always taking them with you.

Q: What does deductible excess mean?

The deductible excess is the maximum amount you must pay in the event of damage before the insurance covers the costs. If you have the Premium package , there is no deductible excess.

Q: Do I have to cover the towing costs in case of an accident or breakdown?

If you have LDW, Super LDW, or Premium insurance roadside assistance and vehicle towing organization are included. However if the breakdown is caused by improper use of the vehicle (e.g., incorrect fuel, damage due to ignoring warning lights) the renter is responsible for the towing costs.

Q: What happens if I leave the lights on and the battery drains?

If the battery drains due to the renter's mistake (e.g., leaving the lights or radio on) the renter is responsible for the intervention costs. However if it's due to a mechanical failure Agio will cover the cost.

Q: Can I reject the damage charge if I believe I am not responsible for it?

If you believe the damage was not caused by your fault, you must immediately report it to Agio and provide evidence (e.g., witness statements, photos, surveillance footage). The final assessment of responsibility will be determined by the insurance company or Agio after reviewing the case.
